Senior Game Server Developer ? Java

Job Description
This position will be working on Lonely Sock?s first & upcoming mobile social games. The successful candidate will be vital part of the server programmer?s squad. He or she will be part of the dedicated core team delivering truly global product to the world. The candidate has to be prepared to live in fast-paced start-up environment.

Requirements
- At least 6 years of work experience
- Ability to build robust back-end solutions
- Be the expert in company?s products client-server architecture
- Expert in JavaSE, very good knowledge of JavaEE
- Working knowledge of application / web servers (preferred open source: Tomcat/Geronimo or other Java EE compliant server)
- Good knowledge of C++
- Love towards gaming is a must. Passion about mobile and social games more than appropriate
- Team leader
- English language proficiency

Responsibilities
- Be the architect for the back-end solution used potentially by millions of players
- Develop and own dedicated parts of the code
- Build and lead the team of top class server engineers
- Work together with the rest of development team
- Stay up-to-date with latest changes of fast evolving platforms and emerging standards

Pluses
- SQL, JPA and Relational databases is a big advantage
- Experience in mobile or social games development a very big one
- Online games development experience
